Short Lives began in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia area in 2012. Though not a prominent voice on the scene, we are actively in the studio whenever possible, crafting music for the love of the art. For fans of Nick Cave, King Crimson, Soundgarden Pink Floyd, Wovenhand, PJ Harvey, Swans, Leonard Cohen etc. Not quite singer/songwriter, not quite punk, not quite prog.
